As part of activities commemorating the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, a day dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of military personnel who defended the nation’s unity and sovereignty, the Hajiya Hadiza Foundation paid a visit to the Theater Command Medical Hospital in Borno State on January 16, 2024. Led by the Founder, Amb. Hajiya Hadiza M. Umar, this initiative was aimed at honouring and supporting the widows and families of Nigerian Armed Forces personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the fight against insurgency. The foundation met with wounded soldiers receiving treatment at the hospital.

High point of the visit was the symbolic distribution of empowerment items, vibrant cultural dance performances, and the provision of essential equipment, including wheelchairs and crutches, to soldiers at the Theater Command Medical Hospital. As a show of support to the families of the officers at the hospital, the foundation donated 3 million Naira as cash gifts. While appreciating the foundation for the gesture, Major General Gold Chibuisi, the Theater Commander, expressed deep gratitude for the foundation's efforts and assured attendees that the military remains committed to restoring peace and security in the region.
