Skills Mentorship Training (SMT) Program
The Skills Mentorship Training (SMT) is an annual flagship program established under the Hajiya Hadiza Foundation, aimed at empowering vulnerable individuals, women, youths, and the less privileged across Nigeria.
SMT is designed to foster personal and professional growth through structured learning, mentorship, and practical training. The program helps participants identify and bridge skill gaps by acquiring relevant competencies that enhance employability, boost confidence, and support long-term career development.
Each year, the Foundation selects 10 to 20 participants from each of the 36 states and the FCT to benefit from the free SMT program. Selected individuals can choose one area of specialization from four key categories offered on the Foundation’s website.
SMT Skill Categories
- Fashion & Design
- Agricultural Training (Farming Tutorials)
- Business Intelligence Mentorship – For both small and large-scale businesses
- Basic ICT Training
Program Duration:
- The Skills Mentorship Training runs for a period of two (2) months.
How to Apply
- Interested participants can subscribe to the SMT program and complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process directly through the Hajiya Hadiza Foundation website. Full details on the available skill packages and application procedures are listed online.
